Greg Steube

BIO: Greg Steube is a Republican representing Florida’s 17th congressional district. The Iraq War veteran was sworn into office on Jan. 3, 2019.

Steube was inspired to enlist in the military after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Before joining the Army, he had earned both an undergraduate and a law degree from the University of Florida.

During his service, Steube spent one year serving as an airborne infantry officer and three years in the Army JAG Corps as a captain with the 25th Infantry Division in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Steube has been vocal about his support for President Donald Trump, specifically his crackdown on illegal immigration.
